The HI-SCAN 6040-2is is an advanced dual-view X-ray inspection system for automatic explosive detection at check-points where bags and personal belongings are screened to protect society. It utilizes proven Heimann X-ray technology to automatically detect explosive materials and generate reliable, high quality dual-view images.

This X-ray system presents a modern, ergonomic design that provides a user friendly interface to make it easier for the operator to identify threats and dangerous or illegal objects, on screen.

Its compact footprint means the HI-SCAN 6040-2is can be installed in areas with restricted space, providing opera-tors with various options to meet their configuration requirements to ensure reliable, efficient throughput of hand luggage.

As the first dual-view system worldwide, the High Resolution version of HI-SCAN 6040-2is has recently obtained Standard 3 Type C, an extended approval as a Liquid Explosive Detection System (LEDS) under the requirements of the European Civil Aviation Conference (ECAC).
